John Rogie, CPT Inc.’s president and principal rig operator, is a California registered Professional Geologist. Mr. Rogie holds a B.S. degree in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Prior to forming CPT Inc., Mr. Rogie worked as a project geologist and staff engineer on geotechnical investigations for Bay Area projects located in liquefaction hazard zones, and is familiar with Special Publication 117 and using CPT data to model liquefaction and settlement potential. All CPT Inc. employees are OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certified.
