CONE PENETRATION TESTING
Our Geoprobe 6625CPT incorporates the Swedish-made Geotech AB Cone Penetration Testing tools which meet the ASTM D-5778 Standard Test Method for Performing Electronic Friction Cone and Piezocone Penetration Testing of Soils. The results are quickly interpreted in the field with the user-friendly CPT-PRO software to graphically present CPT results, including soil behavior types, friction ratio, and SPT blow count N60 energy ratio. The data can be emailed to the project engineer from the field upon completion of each probe.

DUAL TUBE SOIL SAMPLING
Soil samples are collected using a percussion hammer and a dual tube sampling system with 1.85-inch diameter or 1.25-inch diameter clear PVC sampler sheaths. We can also push 2-inch diameter Shelby tubes for relatively undisturbed soil samples in soft clay. The dual tube system’s unique combination of cutting shoe, sheath, and sample retainer allows efficient recovery of samples in formations ranging from plastic clays to saturated sands. The system is designed to quickly recover samples well below the water table.
